While currently embroiled in a wave of controversy typical of the Hollywood gossip cycle, Angelina Jolie has seen the release of the trailer for the film that could give her a Best Director Oscar, Unbroken.
Unbroken tells the story of Louis Zamperini, an American track runner who competed in the 1936 Berlin Olympics, before enlisting in the Air Force and join in the fighting of World War II, where his plane was shot down and spent 47 days adrift before being captured by the Japnese Navy and being forced to live for more than two years in a Prisoner of War camp.
Despite not being released until December 26 2014, the film has already been tipped by critics as an Oscar contender. Watch the trailer below.
