Stereolab singer plays Ireland
Taking time out from touring with Stereolab, French singer Lætitia Sadier is playing a series of Irish dates with her other band.
Monade started as a bedroom-recording project, but has grown into a full band, featuring Laetitia along with Marie Merlet on bass and vocals, Nicolas Etienne on keyboard and Xavier Chabellard on drums.
Monad will play the Liquid Lounge, Cork (June 29); Whelan’s, Dublin (30); and Roisin Dubh, Galway (July 1).
The band’s first studio album A Few Steps More is out now on Too Pure.
