OMD to perform in Dublin and Belfast
The synth-pop group Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) is promoting their new album ‘The Punishment of Luxury’ with a live performance at Vicar Street, Dublin, October 23 and Mandela Hall, Belfast, October 24.
Following up their 2013 album ‘English Electric’, OMD returns with a collection of synth pop written, recorded, produced and mixed by the band’s very own Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys. ‘On this album we have managed to make beautiful things out of noises and repetitive patterns’, explains Andy. ‘The trouble is, we just can’t help but write a catchy melody!’ The album releases September 1st.
