Seeds will arrive later this year
After a wait of three years since Nine Types of Light, indie heroes TV On The Radio have announced that a new album, entitled Seeds, will be released later this year.
Their fifth album will be the first since the death of bassist Gerard Smith. They had confirmed late last year that work on a new record had begun, and today the band revealed that fans don't have long to wait.
And the wait will be more than worth it, if frontman Tunde Adebimpe is to be believed. In a statement, he said: “We’ve been through a lot of stuff in the past few years that could have stopped the band cold, but I’m glad we got it together and took stock of the unique connection we have between each other because the record is, 1000%, without a doubt, the best thing we’ve ever done.”

We have no release date for the album yet (apart from knowing it's due this year). IN the meantime, here's a teaser for the release, as posted on the band's website.
