Killarney Summerfest begins this weekend
With a programme to entertain all the family, the Killarney Summerfest kicks off this weekend with performances from Westlife and Shane Ward.
The official Killarney Summerfest festivities begin this weekend with the eagerly anticipated Westlife concert at Fitzgerald Stadium this Sunday, June 22, with support from Shayne Ward, Hope and Futureproof. Across town, KT Tunstall will take to the stage at the INEC.
In addition, Killarney Summerfest has a packed full calendar that will take place from June 22 until the end of July. Another highlight promises to be the International Street Performers Competition, taking place on the streets of Killarney from Saturday July 12 to Monday July 14.
As well as activities to cater for all ages, events taking place throughout the festival include; My Boy Elvis, The Musical on Friday June 28 at the INEC, Tommy Fleming on July 4, Des Bishop on Saturday July 5 at the INEC and a Classical Music Evening at the Brehon hotel with Hungarian pianist Endre Hegedus on July 20.
Tickets, €59.80, are available now from ticketmaster outlets nationwide and the INEC Box office.
