As reported by Hot Press, Keywest are leading a campaign to prevent the abolition of busking in Dublin. The pop-rockers have already seen 3,500 people cast their votes in favour of saving the Irish busking scene since the beginning of their protest yesterday.
The public consultation period ends tomorrow at noon so there are only 24 HOURS for you to have your say on the issue. You can cast your vote to #SaveIrishBusking here:

The Street Performance Bye-Laws that Dublin City Council have proposed will effectively terminate street performance culture in Dublin as they will see a ban placed on facepainting, dancers, bands and magicians alike.
What they are planning, according to Keywest, “will turn our vibrant capital city into an open air and lifeless corporate shopping mall.”
