After a week of battling illness, Fleetwood Mac stole the show at the Isle of Wight Festival
In the last week, the group had to re-schedule gigs in Birmingham and Manchester due to illness, however this didn't stop them from putting on a stellar headline performance closing last night's Isle of Wight Festival with a bang.
Opening with resounding tune, 'The Chain', Stevie Nicks welcomed back Christine McVie to the line-up after a 16 year hiatus from the band. With hits such as 'Dreams' 'Big Love' and 'Lies' being welcomed by the crowd, Nicks dedicated the spine-tingling 'Landslide' to Foo Fighter's Dave Grohl. Grohl's recent fall at a gig in Sweden meant he had to perform at the Isle of Wight Festival with a broken leg injury to which Nicks remarked "Falling off stage, getting up and playing a two-and-a-half-hour set, I think that's awesome"
