Eleanor McEvoy's music to get the jazz treatment
Corazón to perform the compositions of the celebrated chanteuse
While best known as a singer, Eleanor McEvoy has also proven to be a wonderful musician and composer, and a jazz quartet will be looking to showcase as much at the Leeson Lounge this Thursday.
Corazón: The Music Of Eleanor McEvoy will see four jazz musicians - Ciaran Wilde, Myles Drennan, Dave Fleming and Tom Dunne - performing instrumental versions of her compositions, already available to hear on their album, released last month.
The first live performance of the work kicks off at 9pm on Thursday; admission to the show is completely free.
