Director cancel gigs
Dublin four piece Director have had to cancel three upcoming tour dates due to illness.
Director's lead guitarist, Eoin Aherne, is under the weather, so the group have decided to cancel their scheduled gigs this week to give him the chance to recover.
The cancelled shows are tonight's (December 4) show at Roisin Dubh, Galway, tomorrow's show at Dolan's Warehouse in Limerick and the December 6 show at Cyprus Avenue, Cork.
The band plan to play their December 7 date at Cyprus Avenue, and say that all upcoming shows will go ahead as planned. The cancelled dates will be rescheduled as soon as possible.
Eoin will also miss Director's scheduled appearance on tonight's Podge & Rodge show, where the group will appear as a three-piece.
