As their 50th anniversary looms ever closer ( they played their first gig in London's Marquee Club on July 12 1962), The Rolling Stones are now enlisting their fanbase's help to bring together old archive material from down the years.
With that request in mind, it's likely that there is a treasure trove of material out there from their Irish visits. They first hit on Irish shores when they played Dublin's Adelphi in September 1965, the show ending in a riot as 30 fans jumped on stage.
Their later performances here were far more civilized affairs, but no less iconic – their two headliners at Slane came 25 years apart (in 1982 and 2007) and are still fondly remembered by the masses.
Now the band are hoping they've been captured in more tangible ways. Any photos or 8mm videos (or digital captures from recent appearances) of the band members and performances will be greatly appreciated and used in this year's celebrations.

Have you got any interesting photos, videos or audio of the band or band members? Maybe you filmed us on Super 8, stepping off the Isle of Wight ferry in 1964? Or perhaps you have made a VHS recording of us hanging out backstage at MSG in 1981? Do you have a recording from our gig in Streatham in 1963?
