Tower Records (Dublin) Music Zone (Cork) and OMG @ Zhivago (Galway) will be open at midnight tonight to give Ed Sheeran fans the chance to get their own copy of ÷ as soon as possible!
Tonight at midnight marks the release of Ed Sheeran's first album in years, and because fans have waited long enough for it, record stores in Dublin, Cork, and Galway are staying open past midnight so fans can get their copies of ÷ first! As the singles already released from the album have broken streaming records already and been at the top of the charts for weeks, anticipation for this new album has been higher than ever.
÷ promises to be the most personal of Sheeran's albums, with tracks about his childhood in Suffolk and these past two years he's taken off from music to travel. Executively produced by Benny Blanco (Rihanna, The Weeknd) and Sheeran himself along with Johnny McDaid, Mike Elizondo and Steve Mac, the album was recorded around the world in LA, London, Suffolk and RMS Queen Mary 2.
Irish fans hoping to get their hands on ÷ before anyone else can report to Tower Records on Dawson Street in Dublin, Music Zone in Cork, and OMG @ Zhivago in Galway at midnight to claim their copy.
