Fans were asked to vote for their favourite live event of the year - and the flame-haired singer-songwriter's two shows in Croke Park won the day
Ed Sheeran probably has enough storage concerns when it comes to keeping his awards, but he's scooped one more as the year comes to a close - the Ticketmaster Ticket of the Year.
Competition was tough in a year that saw U2 return to Irish shores, hometown heroes The Script play their biggest ever date, and the annual summer festivals taking yet another step up, but the two dates the singer-songwriter played in Croke Park won the public vote for the finest live event of 2015.
Bono and co. took the No. 2 spot, after their iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE tour wowed 3Arena crowds, while the Stradbally spectacular that is Electric Picnic slotted in at third.
Fleetwood Mac, who made a triumphant return with three dates down the North Wall, grab the No. 4 spot, just pipping The Script, who made Croke Park their own on a famous night in June.
As for 2016? Well, while it's too early to start crowning the best gigs of the coming twelve months, it's fair to ask what the most anticipated are - and the answer is of little surprise. The all-conquering Adele, on her way for two shows each in Belfast and Dublin, has fans most excited for the year ahead.
