Bob Dylan's first three-disc album collection will be released in March, featuring 30 new recordings.
Each disc will stand as a complete sequence, as these three separate albums come together to create a complete work. The full three-disc album, Triplicate, will be released on March 31, but is available for pre-order on iTunes and will be available on CD and vinyl.
Triplicate was produced by Jack Frost, and features Dylan's entire touring band. Recorded in Capitol Studios in Hollywood, the album features songs from the greatest American songwriters, including Charles Strouse and Lee Adams (“Once Upon A Time”) Harold Hupfield (“As Time Goes By”) and Cy Coleman and Carolyn Leigh (“The Best Is Yet To Come”). Each disc is separately titled, and so Triplicate is basically a set of three albums in one: a must-have for any Dylan fan.
