Patti Smith for Ireland [updated]
Christmas comes early for Patti Smith fans when the legendary songstress plays shows in Dublin and Belfast
Patti will play an intimate show in Dublin's Vicar St. (July 29) before jetting up to Belfast to grace the stage of Elmwood Hall the following night.
A true American original, Smith has been plying her trade for over 30 years now and numbers Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan and Courtney Love among her legion of admirers.
It's not just a nostalgia thing either, with her current Trippin' album up there with Horses and Easter in the pantheon of great Smith albums.

Tickets for the Dublin gig are priced at €36 and are on sale now. Tickets for the fully seated Belfast show can be purchased from June 25 (£25) at Ticketshop outlets.
