As the Irish music scene pays tribute to the late Fergus O'Farrell, we dig into our archive and look back at when the singer chatted to our man Peter Murphy in June 2003.
Fergus O'Farrell passed away last night and tributes have been pouring in for him since the news broke. Vocalist with Interference, Fergus worked with some of the biggest names in Irish music throughout his career and was considered by many to be a talent that we'll never see the likes of again.
In the interview from the Hot Press archive, dated June 2003, Fergus talks to Peter Murphy about working with the likes of Maria Doyle-Kennedy, Glen Hansard, Mic Christopher and Mannix Flynn among other things.
