Limerick rockers Protobaby have returned home following their biggest gig to date in front of thousands of Polish rock fans.
After winning the ‘Rock to Bialystok’ competition in Dolan’s in Limerick earlier this month, the band earned the right to play at this year's Juwenalia Rock Festival in Poland. Taking to the stage, the band showed no signs of nerves and played an energetic set to the baying audience. Positive feedback and requests for more gigs soon followed, and the talented quartet are already preparing to return as soon as possible.
Whilst in Poland, the lads also performed at the Odeon Jazz club to great acclaim. Now that they're back home, their thoughts turn to hitting the studio to record their debut album with producer Owen Lewis. Before that though, you can catch the band at Dolan's Warehouse in their native Limerick on June 10 and at Cork's Crane Lane Theatre on July 9.
