Transatlantic Audio Volume 2
Since it set up shop three years ago, Dynamite Joint has been one of the few dance imprints that has pursued a truly eclectic vision.
Since it set up shop three years ago, Dynamite Joint has been one of the few dance imprints that has pursued a truly eclectic vision. This has resulted in the label finding and releasing classics like Bell Café Band by Be Bop Dawg. This willingness to put out any thing once it sounds good is evident on their second compilation. Assembled by the Transatlantic Audio crew from Straight No Chaser, the compilation moves from live drums and jazzy musicality, through dubby, atmospheric breaks and later on, more house led tracks, with the deep touches of Ski Oakefull’s ‘Tokyo Hole’ the high point of a deeply soulful album.
