The social media company has been investing in a collection of TV-like video content that should be available in June.
With Ex-MTV employee Mina Lefevre and Ricky Van Veen, co-founder of College Humor, on board, Facebook aims at launching 10-minute and thirty-minute episodes. There are about 24 shows scheduled to be released in June.
Facebook wants their share of exclusives and one idea has already received permission to launch: A virtual reality dating show produced by Condé Nast Entertainment. The dating show lets people meet in VR, before meeting in real life.

The company has almost reached 2 billion users but to keep those numbers, the social media giant must innovate and spread its influence. This time, it is taking on streaming services such as Netflix.
