Workman's Club has a great line-up to keep you entertained this weekend.
The four day Block Party festival at the Workman's Club in Dublin continues all weekend, with a superb line-up for absolutely free!
On Saturday (August 11) from 3-6pm, The Terrace Market runs with a mix of goodies available to eat or keep from Oxfam Books (Parliament St), Public Beware (Essex St), Feral Foods (feral.ie), The Picture Rooms (12 Wellington Quay), Orla Goodwin, Silver Dragon Jewellery, French Hens Jewellery, home-made cakes by the lovely Mary O’Reilly, rare and collectible music by Ciaran Savage, clothes and fancy things by Aideen Rafferty.
Head to The Garage Bar (Essex St East) behind The Workman’s Club, where a number of events will run from 12 noon until 7pm: see what Golly Gosh Boutique (vintage purveyors from 2 Crown Alley) have on offer, stylist Lisa Marie will be there to give advice.
Retro vinyl and 7”s will be for sale too, while 2 for 1 cocktails and resident DJs keep the crowds entertained. Check out the Digital SLR workshop 3pm hosted by The Picture Rooms (next to The Bison Bar).
At 4pm Don Conroy will be helping everyone brush up on their drawing skills in the Vintage Room. The Richter Collective will host a pop-up record shop on the ground floor of Number 9.

From 3-6pm, head upstairs to check out the acoustic sets by VerseChorusVerse , You Kiss By The Book , The Man Whom and Elaine Mai.
Downstairs in The Venue from 8pm, catch Alarmist, Kid Karate and Overhead The Albatross, followed by sets from May Kay of the deadly Fight Like Apes and Workman’s Club Indie Residents from 10pm bells on the First Floor.
On Sunday (August 12) visit the Oxfam Vintage Shop happening in The Vintage Room from 3pm. For those suffering from a bad hair Sunday, Sean Bryan from Cut And Sew will be cutting hair for free between 3-6pm. Visitors can catch a screening of the amazing Cinema Paradiso at 8pm, followed by a Dress Dance at 11pm in The Venue with Miss Paula Cullen.
