Not content with dueting with Bono at the Live 8 finale in Edinburgh, Andrea Corr hits the big screen again this month in a 25-minute thriller called The Bridge.
Corr plays a psychologist in the Richard Raymond directed short, which having gone down a storm at the Cannes Film Festival receives its London West End premiere on July 14.
Talking to the www.corrsonline.com fansite, Raymond enthuses that: “Andrea has this amazing quality and talent that just draws you in – she has a very strong persona and brings an incredible warmth and cinematic depth to her character. She’s not afraid to question a scene and build on what has already been written – which as a director is great input and just adds to a better movie.”
Meanwhile, it looks like The Corrs’ new album, provisionally titled Home, will hit the racks in either late August or early October.
