Stevie Martin's family are anxious that the stolen items are returned
The PSNI in Derry are appealing for information following the theft of items from the Great Jones Street home of Stevie Martin, AKA Rainy Boy Sleep, whose body was discovered earlier this month on Strandhill beach Sligo.
They’ve also released a photo of the 29-year-old’s living-room where many of them were kept.
“Sentimental items were stolen, including a blue electric Stratocaster guitar, a keyboard, a sum of money and assorted musical equipment,” says a spokesperson. “Stephen’s family would appreciate any helping in locating these items. We are appealing for anyone with information who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or have information about the incident or anyone who may be offered similar items for sale in suspicious circumstances to contact police at Strand Road on 101, quoting reference 470 on 12/08/16. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
