Krist Novoselic shares the first song from his newly formed band, Giants In The Trees.
Giant In The Trees released a music video for ‘Sasquatch,’ filmed in the band’s forested home ground of the Pacific Northwest. The rock band was formed in 2016 and consists of Krist Novoselic, Ray Prestegard, Erik Friend, and vocalist Jillian Raye. ‘Sasquatch’ marks their first release together.
The bassist joked about the video’s lower budget production quality, writing in the Youtube comments, “it cost over $2 million to make. The reason is, it was shot on a soundstage and all of the flora is made from plastic, foam and other materials to get that natural look….I bought the property the video is filmed on. To pay for the production I cut all the trees and am now building a golf course on the land.”
