Dirty Epics are the latest Irish band to receive an endorsement from a major TV production, with the selection of a track to feature in the hugely successful Skins.
The band's track 'We're Coming Up' will feature on tonight's final episode of the current series on E4, which airs at 10pm.
"It's really good to be picked for Skins, 'cos it's such as great show – so we're thrilled about that," Sarah Jane Wai told Hot Press from Austin, Texas where Dirty Epics are currently preparing for the Irish Breakfast Showcase tomorrow at the South By South West festival.
The band also play their own showcase gig on Saturday night at B.D.Riley's in Austin, kicking off at 1am.
"We've got a new guitarist Vince Lim, so we've been bedding him in," Sarah reveals. "It's worked out really well. We wanted to get recording immediately and so we went straight into the studio and recorded 'I Heart You', which has just been released as a single.

"The live set is really strong now and so we're raring to go," the singer added.
The band stopped off to play Arlene's Grocery in New York before heading to Texas for SXSW. "It was raining in New York," Sarah Jane reveals, "and so we were really looking forward to getting to Austin – but when we arrived it was raining here as well, which is unusual. It seemed like we'd taken the weather with us – but the sun is shining now, and the festival is in full swing, so there's a great atmosphere here."
