With that in mind, Whelan's have decided that waiting until the New Year to unveil their Ones To Watch is simply too much, and have instead lined up a weekend jam-packed with young Irish acts worth lending an ear to.
Gangs (pictured), I Am Niamh, and Buffalo Sunn are among the acts headed towards Wexford Street this Saturday and Sunday, as the main room and the upstairs venue host a full 25 bands over the two days.
The line-up is completed by Tadgh, Haklion, I Heart The Monster Hero, Skelocrats, Riot Tapes, Mythill Grim, Switzerland, Paddy Hanna, Half Of Me, Participant, The Fontaines, Pranks, Sub Motion, Let's Set Sail, Fruit Tones and Swimmers.
Tickets are priced at a mere €5, with a free drink.
