Watch: The Strypes on Jools Holland

The 42nd series of that most holy of musical institutions, Later... With Jools Holland, kicked-off last night on the BBC with Cavan's finest bringing a refreshing blast of rhythm 'n' blues to proceedings.

The Strypes played a hip-shaking rendition of current single 'Blue Collar Jane' which got a massive thumbs up from Jools himself who also shared their love of Dr. Feelgood.

The Strypes were joined in the BBC studios by Suede, Cat Power and Laura Mvula. Check out their performance below.
