Filmed and produced in Cork, the film is set to premiere next month
It might be a distance from Christmas - or Hallowe'en, for that matter - but that hasn't stopped HP Towers from having a hearty humpday guffaw at the trailer for Christmas At Dracula's.
The brainchild of writer and director Simon McKeon, the influence of B-movies, Hammer Horror - and, dare we suggest, a dash of Tarantino - are to the fore of the new film shot entirely in Cork.
The freaky feature, which is set to premiere at a special event in aid of St Vincent de Paul in UCC next month, was a four-year labour of love for the young director; McKeon says he "wanted to use old school values while incorporating some aspects of modern cinema".
