Radiohead accused of copyright breach following the release of 'Burn the Witch'

Family of the mastermind behind children's TV show, Thrumpton, have today accused Radiohead of copying the show in their newest music video.
Son-in-law of the shows creator has claimed that the recently released video for the bands single Burn the Witch is guilty of "tarnishing the brand."
“Radiohead should have sought our consent as we consider this a tarnishing of the brand. It is not something we would have authorised. We consider that there is a breach of copyright and we are deciding what to do next," he told the Mail on Sunday.
He also stated he would not be showing the video to his father-in-law who is now 95 as he would be "appalled."

The coming weeks will see if the family will pursue legal action against the band as they are still deciding what step to take next.
The band shot straight to number one in the charts following the release of their newest album A Moon Shaped Pool.
With Radiohead set to head off on tour next week we can't help but notice a break in dates between August and October. Being mere mortals we cannot see into the future but we do know that Electric Picnic have yet to announce some acts, who knows, perhaps the band will be attending Stradbally this year. Although we'd hate to get anyones hopes up, I guess we'll just have to wait and see!
