Hebden and Reid for Dublin
Four Tet's Kieran Hebden and drumming legend Steve Reid will bring their collaborative show to Dublin in December.
The duo went down a storm when they headlined the Nokia Trends Lab stage at Electric Picnic and are now set to play Tripod on December 6.
They released two volumes of collective tunes last year under the moniker The Exchange Sessions Volume 1 as well as an album of improvisation, Tongues.
Steve Reid is best known for playing on the Martha & The Vandellas 1964 hit 'Dancing In The Street', when he was just 19. In subsequent years he went on to man the sticks for a who's who of music legends: Miles Davis, Fela Kuti, James Brown, Fats Domino, Chaka Khan and Dionne Warwick to name but a few.
Tickets for the show are €20/€24.50, available from Ticketmaster, Road Records, City Discs, Sound Cellar and usual outlets.
