David Gray announces new tour
David Gray fans pining for their hero will be thrilled to hear that he’s Ireland-bound in May.
Leaving the band at home, his Bare Bones Acoustic Tour calls to UCH, Limerick (May 5); Opera House, Cork (6); and Dublin Castle (7).
Tickets priced €34.50, €39.20 and €44.20 go on sale at 9am on Friday March 23.
The name of the trek comes from an early Gray tune, ‘Good For Nothing’, which features the line: “Standing in my bare bones naked on the old wood stage, wondering if they’ll lay their money down.”
Says Ireland’s favourite adopted son: "It feels right to do it, taking it right back to how I began."
