Vote for Soak and you could win a trip to the European Border Breakers Award at Groningen with 2FM.
The European Border Breakers Award ceremony will take place on January 13 in the Dutch city of Groningen marking the beginning of the annual Eurosonic festival.
The EBBA's are about breaking down the borders between European states and highlighting the permeability of music across cultures. It aims to recognise emerging European rock, pop and dance artists who have been successful outside of their own country. Previous winners at the awards include Hozier, The Ting Tings, Adele and many other esteemed names.
This year 2FM is sending its cohort over to the ceremony and you could be going too. Derry City's SOAK has been nominated for the Public Choice Award and to be in with a chance of heading over to the low country all you need is to vote for the nineteen year old singer.
Also included in the prize is an all access pass to the Eurosonic festival as well as the opportunity to to take part in a social media workshop given by the European Broadcasting Union. The winner will also be asked to take part in the #faneurosonic16 social media campaign throughout the festival, a fantastic opportunity for all the budding social media marketers and media fans out there.
