A number of Irish acts, previously set for The Killarney Festival of Food and Music, perform this weekend.
Well, you won't be seeing Duran Duran or Burt Bacharach in Kerry this weekend after the unmitigated disaster that was the cancellation of The Killarney Festival of Food & Music.
A number of the Irish acts that were lined up to play, however, don't want to let the fans down – they will now perform at the INEC across the weekend, with proceeds going to charity.
On Saturday night, Walking on Cars, Mick Flannery & The Little Hours will be joined by Liz Seaver and Booka Brass Band. On the comedy side Aprés Match will be joined by Colm O’Regan.
The Sunday night pop-up concert will see traditional fusion band Moxie join the bill along with Damien Dempsey and Mundy.
Pop-up comedy on Sunday with feature MC Barry Murphy, along with Jason Byrne and Karl Spain.
Proceeds from the events will go to Cuan Counselling and the Oncology unit at Kerry General Hospital.
Concert tickets are €20 & comedy tickets are €15, all available from [link]www.ticketmaster.ie[/link] or INEC Box Office on 064 6671555.
