Fresh from being featured in the new issue of Hot Press, Metropolis has announced ten intimate afterparties across three nights - exclusively for people who are going to the festival.
Tickets for these brilliant after-parties will be onsale at the RDS festival site. There will also be an extremely limited amount of tickets available on the door of each venue but only for festival goers. You’ll need to show your festival ticket or wristband at the door to gain entry.
On the Thursday night, you can head to The Button Factory to keep the party going with Kormac Live AV, who will be bringing special guests. This show is completely free for Metropolis goers.
Here's what's going on on Friday November 4:
The Red Bull Music Academy have been pairing music legends and emerging beatsmiths since 1998 and have an unrivalled combination of old school knowledge and new school sounds. To that end, RBMA are bringing an awesome DJ set from bass music heroes Modeselektor! Modeselektor will be bringing the raw and full-on spirit of the 1990s Berlin club scene to District 8 for this very special afterparty. (Doors 11pm /€15)
Sense & Welcome will be bringing Mall Grab to The Button Factory on Friday night. Jordon Alexander aka Mall Grab is breaking all kinds of moulds on his rapid rise to recognition on the world stage. Expect original house and techno material from this newcomer on the scene. (Doors 11pm /€5/10)

Over at The Sugar Club, Homebeat are bringing you the legendary Wolfgang Flür (formerly of Kraftwerk) to the stage for a chance to see one of the most famous musicians in the history of electronica in these intimate surrounds. (Doors 11pm /€10)
Opium Rooms will have Bristol-based brothers Tom and Ian Griffiths AKA Icarus. Pete Tong said of these guys ‘Huge buzz around this new Bristol based duo….Next level UK fusion of urban / electronic / Bristol-ness. One to watch..’ They’ll have special guests with them on the night, too! (Doors 11pm /€10)
Subject will be putting on Marcellus Pittman Unirhythm at the brand spanking new Wah Wah Club (located in The Grand Social). Detroit house veteran Marcellus Pittman likes his music rugged and groovy, so expect the roof to be well and truly raised! (Doors 11pm /€10)
