The ska legends will be hitting Dublin and Belfast this December.
Madness have plotted an Irish detour during their upcoming UK tour this December, with a show at Belfast's Odyssey on December 15 followed by a Dublin performance at The O2 on December 16.
These shows won't be any typical performance by the lads from Camden Town. This tour will follow the concept of M.A.D.H.E.A.D., which is described by the band as: "There is only one Madhead. It is about you, above you, below you and within you. It is all around you. It is you. Inside the Madhead is all your thoughts. The Madhead can hear the music. The Madhead can feel the music. The Madhead must dance. The Madhead must sing. I are the Madhead. You are the MAdhead. We are the Madhead."
The band is still going strong since coming into existence almost forty years ago, having reemerged into the spotlight in 2012 with performances at the Queen of England's Diamond Jubilee and the closing ceremony of the London Olympics, which was followed by the release of the band's tenth album Oui Oui Si Si Ja Ja Da Da
. Madness plans to have a new album out by the end of the year, right around the time their tour kicks off.
Tickets for the Dublin show start at €48.65 and the Belfast show will see tickets going for £41.50. Tickets for both concerts are available at Ticketmaster.
