Live Haiti broadcast on RTE Digital

RTE’s digital alternative music station RTE2XM will carry a live broadcast from Hope for Haiti Now, the star-studded concerts raising funds for Haiti, on Saturday 23 January from 1am.

The concerts will be broadcast from both coasts of the USA, with live links to Haiti and performances from London.

Latest additions to the musical line include Beyonce in London, Madonna in New York City, and Haitian artist Emeline Michel in Los Angeles.

They will join the previously announced bill which also includes:

In London: Coldplay, and a group performance by Bono, The Edge, Jay-Z, and Rihanna.

In New York City: Wyclef Jean, Bruce Springsteen, Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige, Shakira, and Sting;

In Los Angeles: Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Dave Matthews, John Legend, Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Kid Rock, and Sheryl Crow.

The Haitian-born entertainer Wyclef Jean will helm the New York link, with George Clooney hosting in Los Angeles and CNN’s Anderson Cooper in Haiti.

In addition to musical performances, Hope for Haiti Now will also feature President Bill Clinton, Ben Stiller, Brad Pitt, Chris Rock, Clint Eastwood, Denzel Washington, Halle Berry, Jon Stewart, Julia Roberts, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Meryl Streep, Morgan Freeman, Nicole Kidman, Robert Pattinson, Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Hanks, Will Smith with Muhammad Ali and more.

Hope for Haiti Now live on RTE2XM Saturday January 23 at 1 am.
