LISTEN: Dirty Projectors tackle Phoenix

Phoenix returned this week with fifth studio album (and first in four years) Bankrupt! and their lead single has certainly been getting the desired traction. Not only did they blast it out to a rapturous reception on Jools Holland Tuesday (see the edited appearance this weekend), but it's clearly ripe for the remix treatment.

We've already seen Dev Hynes – aka Blood Orange – turn 'Entertainment' into a sumptuous chillwave tune, replete with original Sugababes vocals, plus versions from Grizzly Bear and Dinosaur Jr. Now the acclaimed Dirty Projectors have decided to turn it on its head. It deconstructs it expertly, but we reckon the Blood Orange version is almost definitive at this point.
