There was much celebrating in the U2 camp this week as How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb sold its millionth copy in the UK.
The album has taken the top spot in 25 countries, bringing their combined sales to over 130 million.
There's likely to be more chart conquering on February 7 when 'Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own' receives its European single release. Bonus tracks on the various CD formats include Jacknife Lee remixes of 'Fast Cars' and Bono & Pavarotti's 'Ave Maria' and a Redanka overhaul of 'Vertigo'.
There's also a DVD version featuring a live performance of the song plus a Trent Reznor remix of 'Vertigo'.
Curiously, the band have decided on 'All Because Of You' as their next Stateside single, with promo copies going to radio there last week.
Finally, March 14 finds U2, The Pretenders, The O'Jays, Buddy Guy and Percy Sledge being inducted into the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.
