Fleet Foxes reveal new song and video
'Grown Ocean' clip features band footage from recording sessions
Seattle's finest, Fleet Foxes have made the wait for upcoming sophomore album Helplessness Blues a little bit more palatable with the surprise release of the video for their new single and album-closer 'Grown Ocean'.
The clip was revealed by lead singer Robin Pecknold on Twitter as a parting gift before he took what he called a "twitter/Internet break for a while" and the video, filmed and edited by Pecknold's brother features fuzzy, hand-shot footage of the band's recording process for the eagerly-awaited album. The song itself, much like the album title-track, is another leap from the band into more pop-rock early 70's territory, albeit keeping the classic glorious vocal harmonies intact.
