The director of the Cornetto Trilogy returns to Working Title Films after leaving Marvel's Ant-Man due to creative differences.
In a report by Deadline, Edgar Wright has returned to Working Title films to work on his next title, Baby Driver, a film pitched as "a wild spin on the action and crime drama which will be set in the US." It has yet to be revealed whether Wright will be working with his longtime collaborators Simon Pegg and Nick Frost on the project.
In the report Wright will be the only writer on Baby Driver, described as "a collision of crime, action, music and sound." The production appears to be moving quickly, so it would not be outlandish to expect a release before the end of the year.

As for Ant-Man,Marvel head Kevin Feige has said he's still interested in working with Wright despite the director leaving the project that was eight years in the making. Wright's replacement, director Peyton Reed is currently shooting a new script ahead of a summer release for the film, which stars Paul Ruud.
