Students will know on the same day of their application whether they have landed a place in the music school
BIMM (British and Irish Modern Music) Institute Dublin, will host an ‘Accelerated Application Day’ this Wednesday, August 24 from 1pm to 5pm at its Francis Street premises in Dublin 8.
This is the first time the music college has organised an opportunity like this for prospective students. Students will find out on the same day whether they have a place on a course starting in September.
Speaking ahead of the Accelerated Application Day, Executive Director Dara Kilkenny, said ‘‘BIMM Dublin is already making a huge impact on the music scene, with our current crop of students and recent graduates emerging as successful musicians and producers. Our teaching and tutorial staff are all industry professionals too - we are therefore connected directly into the music industry.’’
The Accelerated Application Day will include a presentation about all aspects of life at BIMM Institute Dublin and a performance from current students, a Music Production workshop; and a music industry panel where performance tutors will give advice on studying at BIMM and the music industry.
