Adam Green & Band Of Skulls Dublin-bound

You'll have to wait till the New Year though.

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 06 Nov 2009

Adam Green launches into the New Year with a brace of shows in the Academy 2, Dublin (January 26) and Speakeasy, Belfast (27) where he’ll be introducing fans to his Minor Love album.

All of which suggests that he’s concentrating on solo endeavours rather than reactivating The Moldy Peaches who are officially on a career break.

Also heading to the Academy 2 early in 2010 are Band Of Skulls (February 18), the Southampton trio whose Baby Darling Doll Face Honey album is equal parts The White Stripes and The Pretenders.

With the Doors-like ‘White Women’ opening with the line, “You know I want to bone you” followed by “Fuck fuck me baby” it’s obvious that former Moldy Peach Adam Green hasn’t quite abandoned his penchant for puerile adolescent humour.
