Controversial TV personality Katie Hopkins will be on the sofa with Ryan Tubridy tomorrow evening.
Ms Hopkins made the announcement on Twitter, alongside the hashtag #MAGA (Make America Great Again).
While it will not be the former Apprentice star's first appearance on the show, her announcement has generated a social media backlash.
Many people have been taking to Twitter to voice their discontent at RTE's decision to give a platform to Ms Hopkins.
One man, Alan Maguire, posted a complaint letter that he wrote to RTE on Twitter. It reads: "Katie Hopkins is a dangerous bigot... I firmly believe that RTE has no place providing a platform to someone who has described refugees as cockroaches.
"It is simply not in the public interest to mainstream the dangerous views of people like Ms Hopkins in order to generate cheap and pointless Twitter outrage.

"This week's events in the US show us where providing airtime for 'entertaining' bigots can lead."
I've sent a complaint to RTÉ about Katie Hopkins' Late Late appearance. Maybe you'll consider doing so too. [email protected] pic.twitter.com/pT3zYmy5Ym

Hopkins responded by saying: "A dangerous bigot? I speak my mind. Regular taxpayers are sick of political correctness and the multicultural mafia."
She continued: "In my experience, leftie lovies are braver behind their sticky keyboards, flossing their teeth with their toenails."
"Ireland. We voted for Brexit. America voted for Trump. Get over it."
The Late Late Show will be broadcast tomorrow evening at 9.30pm on RTE.
