Unfortunately Peter Hook will not be involved but it is for a good cause.
Brussels and Paris are the lucky cities that will host the two gigs on October 17 and 18 to raise money for the treatment of film-maker Michael Shamberg.
Shamberg has collaborated with the band throughout their career and is suffering from a debilitating disease. He produced several of their music videos, including 'Regret' and one of the best music videos of all time, the Brit award winning 'True Faith'.
The band will reunite without bassist Peter Hook but will feature keyboardist Gillian Gilbert, who hasn't toured with the band in more than ten years. Gilbert pulled out in 2001 to take care of her daughter who has transverse myelitis, reasoning that she could be replaced more easily than her husband, drummer Stephen Morris.

"It's been a long 10 years since I took a break from the band, so I'm really happy to be back, and this is a great place to start" Gilbert told BBC 6 Music. "Michael is a very good friend, and I want to help him, so it's perfect timing for me to come back now."
New Order split in 2007 on not so good terms and Hook is not expected to be happy about the band reuniting without him. However, he has yet to make a statement.
