The Hot Press Chatroom at EP kicks off with Lykke Li
The Swedish singer got things started by telling us she'll keep working it for the single ladies like Beyonce on her next record!
The Scandinavian wonder was in fine form for her interview, telling Celina Murphy that hit debut album Youth Novels was based on heartbreak and that for album number two, there's plenty more where that came from!
Keen to mingle with the crowd, at one fan's request Lykke Li has promised to perform one new track at her show tonight.
And if you think that's getting close to the public, one crowd member even summed up the courage to ask the gorgeous Swede to marry him in an Electric Picnic fake marriage ceremony. Unfortunately, Lykke Li will be too busy rocking out on the Crawdaddy stage to partake in novelty festival marriages.
Still to come in the Hot Press Chatroom Zero 7, Seasick Steve and the Duckworth Lewis Method.
Peter Murphy quizzes Portland alt-rockers Richmond Fontaine as I type.
Stay tuned to Hotpress.com for more updates!
