Banks certainly does not beat around the bush, hitting the hapless Palin where it hurts. You may need to be seated for this one.
It's not the first time that Azealia Banks has taken to Twitter to air her complaints, as the well-known Irish writer Amanda Brunker can surely attest.
However, the arch-conservative U.S. Republican Sarah Palin was Azealia's target on this occasion. In a series of tweets, Banks ripped into the former Governor of Alaska – showing no mercy, whatsoever! The tenor of the exchange could not be described as particularly edifying...
My only mistake was insinuating that SP might have sex with someone other than one of her cousins. #trailer

Azealia addressed two open letters to Palin in which she aired her views somewhat more eloquently. In one, Banks writes: “The mind born of very intelligent and real conversations/confrontations around American Racism. And the detachment of the Black mind from the mirage of a subpar existence and self-perceptions that crackers created for us long ago. They feel exposed and out of control for once. And our big black ideas and expression are threatening to further expose them, so they’ll try to trivialize and minimize our blackness by stereotyping us.”

However a false accusation was made that Palin had retaliated by saying "Negroes loved being slaves" – which was the cue for a further explosion. As she later admitted, Banks let her rage get the better of her judgement, lashing out with a stream of invective: "Sarah Palin needs to have her hair shaved off to a buzz cut, get headfucked by a big veiny, ashy, black dick then be locked in a cupboard... Let's find the biggest burliest blackest negroes and let them run a train on her. Film it and put it on Worldstar."
Banks has since removed the Tweets.
Palin took to her Facebook page to respond with another open letter. There have since been rumours that she intends to sue the rapper for defamation.

After discovering that the accusations against Palin were untrue, Banks put her hands up and extended an apology to the politician and writer. ""All in All, Woman to Woman, I hope you will accept my sincerest apology.”
Whether this will be the end of this particular feud remains to be seen. We certainly hope so."
