The blind auditions continued last night as the show entered it's third week.
Week three of the blind auditions to find The Voice Of Ireland 2013 aired on RTÉ last night. And ratings revealed the highest ever audience for an episode of the show with an average of 729,000 tuning in. We're not sure if that has more to do with the miserable weather we're enduring at the moment, or if it's all Bressie's doing. We'll let you decide.
After the opening two weeks had seen him pipped at the post by Bressie and Jameliah, Westlife's Cian Egan began somewhat of a fightback last night, landing three acts for his team and proving that the show (in his words) isn't all about the former Blizzards frontman.
Among those acts was Kelly Morgan, who wowed the judges with a Whitney Houston number last night. As her mentor, Cian had planned to give Kelly somewhat of a makeover to bolster his and her chances of victory. Those plans were scuppered this morning as Kelly delivered the news that she's pregnant.
Speaking to Ryan Tubridy on 2FM this morning, the contestant – who got married last summer – revealed that she is with child, and was in fact three months pregnant when she auditioned. Kelly is due at the end of April around the same time as the final which will air on April 28.

Producers of the show said:
‘Everyone in Shinawil is delighted for Kelly and her fantastic news, and hope that the Battle stages go well for her.’
Fellow Judge Sharon Corr may have hit the jackpot though with Aoife McLoughlin, who arguably delivered the performance of the night with a studio shattering version of Nancy Sinatra's 'Bang Bang (I Shot You Down)'.
