Should be a great one in Dublin.
If you’re in the mood for a magical mystery tour through the most exciting outposts of indie, electro and psychedelia this Saturday night (Feb 21), then Twisted Pepper is the place to be. Stopping off for a special DJ set are cult UK indie outfit The Horrors, whose impeccable taste has seen them fashion three of the most critically acclaimed albums of the last few years, including 2014’s Luminous.
The boys have been keeping busy away from the day job in recent times and in addition to their brilliantly eclectic DJ sets, they have also been active on the remix front, with synth player Tom Furse giving an excellent electro makeover to Mark Lanegan’s ‘Seventh Day’. The track is featured on Lanegan’s new album A Thousand Miles Of Midnight: Phantom Radio Remixes, which is given the critical once over in the new issue of HP. Overall, it has the makings of a memorable night of exquisitely curated dancefloor action.
Also taking to the decks on the night is Gib Cassidy (Girls Names / Elastic Witch).
Tickets: €12/10, Doors 10:30pm
