Tune in to Jonesy's Jukebox on Friday nights at 8pm.
The great news from L.A. is that Sex Pistols guitarist and self-proclaimed professional yob Steve Jones has found a new home for his brilliant Jonesy’s Jukebox show.
Now to be found every Friday at 8pm Irish time on 95.5 KLOS, it encompasses everything from groundbreaking new music to the glam stompers he shoplifted in the ’70s. Jones also attracts a high calibre of musical guest with Eddie Vedder, Brian Wilson, Robert Plant, Courtney Love, John Waters and bandmate John Lydon all guesting on the last run of the programme.
Caught In The Net has fond memories of Jones chatting to Patrick Bergin - remember him? - about republicanism and him introducing Britain’s Allegedly Got Talent winner Paul Potts as “the former genocidal leader of the Khmer Rouge.” We don’t think Paul found it quite as chucklesome as we did.
