New benefit album marks the New Orleans disaster
Five years after Hurricane Katrina ripped through the streets of New Orleans, a new benefit compilation album has been released, to mark the anniversary of the disaster. The album, entitled Dear New Orleans features tracks from artists such as Steve Earle, The Mendoza Line, Tom Morello and Blind Pilot.
The album features some collaborations with local artists from New Orleans, as well as a mix of covers and new music.
The website contains a media player, where you can listen to all 34 tracks, and make a donation to the cause.
