Shane's version of 'I Put A Spell On You' will be available to download from March 8, with all proceeds going to Concern's aid effort in Haiti
Shane McGowan and partner Victoria Clarke have released a charity version of Screamin’ Jay Hawkins' 1956 hit 'I Put A Spell On You'.
The single, which features vocals from Nick Cave, Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie, the Sex Pistols' Glen Matlock, The Pretenders' Chrissie Hynde, and with guitar courtesy of The Clash’s Mick Jones and Johnny Depp, is in aid of Haitian earthquake victims, with all proceeds going to the charity Concern.
It got its world radio premiere last night on Today FM's The Last Word, when Matt Cooper was joined by HP's Stuart Clark, and will be available for download only from March 8.
