All is not well in Camp Leon at the moment as the band cancel their US tour
Caleb Followill has responded to the media interest surrounding his decision to abandon a show at Dallas and the band's decision to cancel the remainder of their US tour. Speaking to TMZ, the singer says he is: "just trying to get better".
Caleb insists the problem lies with his "voice" and joked that he would "try not to do interviews" to ensure it fully heals.
We all know about that infamous Kings Of Leon gig where the band were forced to abandon stage due to overhead pigeon projectiles but now it seems their shows are being hampered by problems within the band itself.
The Kings have cancelled all of their forthcoming US dates following something of an onstage meltdown from lead singer Caleb Followill at a date in Dallas. At that show, an apparently drunken Caleb made an early departure, attributing dehydration affecting his voice.
He announced to the crowd that he was "gonna vomit" and "gonna drink a beer" and then return for three songs. He never returned, and a later official statement confirmed vocal issues and exhaustion were to blame.

Onstage, however, his fellow Followills and bandmates told a different, darker story. Jared announced Caleb's exit, saying: "We are so unbelievably sorry, there's no words right now, honestly it's beyond our control.
"Caleb's just maybe a little unfit to play the rest of the show. We're so sorry guys, we love you all so much. I know you guys f**king hate us, I can't enough.
"It's really not our fault. He can't play the rest of the show. We will be back as soon as possible. F**king hate Caleb, not us."
Later on, Jared tweeted: "Dallas, I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am. There are internal sicknesses & problems that have needed to be addressed. No words."
Elswehere on Twitter, drummer Nathan was emphatic in stating that this is not the end of the band.
"Bummed about the tour not happening. So sorry 4 all the fans. We just need some rest. Thanks 4 understanding. WE ARE NOT BREAKING UP (sic)!"
Bassist Jared (@youngfollowill) backed up his older brother, whilst also injecting a little light-heartedness into proceedings.
"Don't jump to conclusions guys. We're not breaking up. BRB. Just got a text from Nathan..... Ummm.... Eesh. So about what I just said.......
